Along with George Crump, H.S. Colt designed Pine Valley, ranked the #1 course in the world year after year. He leads all architects with 11 of GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Courses in the World. He worked predominantly with Alister MacKenzie, as well as Charles Alison and John Morrison, forming Colt, Alison & Morrison Ltd in 1928. He was also a founding member of the Royal & Ancient Rules of Golf Committee.
