Born in Austin, Ben Crenshaw won three national championships while at UT, then went on to win 19 times on the PGA Tour including two Green Jackets plus five runner-up finishes at majors. Now he’s known as half of Coore-Crenshaw with course designs stretching from Streamsong to Kapalua and Cabot Cliffs to Bandon Dunes. The most exciting courses are still to come though with layouts in the build stage at Cabot St. Lucia, Te Arai Links in New Zealand, Brambles in Napa, and Crazy Mountain Ranch in Montana.
